Can a voice twin answer for you?

Hypothesis

Before agents represent companies, they'll represent people. A conversational voice twin — trained on your voice, briefed on your work — should be able to hold a genuinely useful first conversation with anyone who wants to know what you do.

What we built

The voice room at /thrivbe-ai: a 3D scene with a live conversational agent you can simply talk to. It speaks in Robin's cloned voice, knows Thrivbe's work, and holds an open-ended spoken conversation in the browser — no signup, no typing.

Learnings

• Latency is the product. A twin that answers in under a second feels like a conversation; two seconds feels like a phone menu.
• The twin forces you to articulate your own story clearly — writing its briefing document was half the value of the experiment.
• People try to break it, ask it personal questions, and thank it when they leave. The social contract with a voice is completely different from a chatbox.
